Meet the Doctor

After finishing my undergraduate studies, I worked in a family printing business in Irondequoit. During that era my grandparents were going through the healthcare system. They got the care needed, but with less dignity/humanity than I felt necessary, which struck me deeply. I decided to enter the healthcare field simply because I could keep it human. Occupational therapy is what I started with, volunteering in hospital settings and doing night school for prerequisite math and science (prior degrees were in accounting and English/writing). I enjoyed helping patients, but this was not my avenue.

Around that time my chiropractor suggested chiropractic school. I was slow to embrace the idea. After stumbling across an article about chiropractic as a profession, I had my “ah ha” moment – in the 3 years I had been getting regular chiropractic care, I had not been sick! (unlike the seasonal illnesses I had previously encountered). Excitedly I realized chiropractic had the potential to keep people from getting in the very situation my grandparents ended up in! This became my motivation so I changed direction and attended New York Chiropractic College (currently known as Northeast College of Health Sciences) and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2004.

My wife, son and I relocated to Falconer, NY when I graduated, and I took over a chiropractic practice in October 2004. Over the last last 20 years I’ve grown that practice, helping thousands of people recover and manage musculoskeletal issues, while providing the respect, empathy and compassion deserved. This family practice was 99% referral based from the patients seen (who became extended family). Patient care ranged from one and done to regular maintenance care, with a broad range of acute care for injuries to chronic condition management.

In early 2025, my wife and I decide it was time to relocate to Rochester, NY, my hometown. We moved in September 2024. In 2025 I began establishing a new practice in Pittsford, NY, which shares space with a Doctor of Acupuncture, Doctor of Naturopathy, and a massage therapist in a wellness facility. To start, I will be in Rochester Mondays and Fridays for patient care in June 2025. I am super excited about this practice and am enjoying the challenge of starting over. Eventually I will close the Falconer office as this new one builds up, then be here full time.
